Call for Proposals: Grant for Secondary Research Using Iran Cohort Network Data

A new Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued by the National Institute for Medical Research Development of Iran (NIMAD), focusing on research utilizing existing data from the nation’s cohort studies.

Titled “Research Projects Derived from Existing Data in National Cohort Studies,” this grant aims to promote secondary research by maximizing the utilization of data already collected within the Iran Cohort Network.

Key guidelines for this call include:

  • Focus on Existing Data: Projects must rely solely on existing, available datasets. The collection of new data or the administration of new questionnaires is not permitted under this grant.
  • Objective: The primary goals are to facilitate access to cohort data, promote significant research topics, and encourage the integration and harmonization of variables across two or more cohort studies to enable robust, pooled analyses.

Interested researchers can access further details and guidelines through the official National Institute for Medical Research Development of Iran (NIMAD) portal.
