Goals
Determining the prevalence of main preventable risk factors of non-communicable diseases in Iran (including smoking, poor nutrition, low physical activity, high blood pressure, overweight and obesity, high blood glucose, and high blood lipids) by age and sex groups
Study population
The eligible population for study was defined by the criteria of being among 18≤ years old Iranian adults that staying in Iran at the time of data collection.
Sampling method and sample size
Proportional to size, sample size systematic random Sampling, 31050 individuals

Interview, physical exam, biochemical measurements
Follow up Methods
The possibility for active fallow-up based on contact information of participants
Main Exposures
Demographic, behavioral (e.g. nutrition, physical activity and smoking), medical history, family history, biological (e.g. anthropometric, blood pressure, pulse rate, pedometer information ), biochemical (e.g. FPG, HbA1c , ALT , HDL, TG, Chol, Urine- Na, Urine- Cr)
Outcomes
NCDs events especially cardiovascular diseases, metabolic risk factors, injuries and cancer
